Kailash - Manasarovar
As per the Hindu belief, Lord Shiva, along with his wife Parvati, resides at the peak of Mount Kailash. Doing a parikrama of Mount Kailash and taking a holy dip in the Mansarovar Lake is said to relieve pilgrims of any sins and bringing salvation to them.

Bodh Gaya
It was under the Bodhi Tree in Mahabodhi Temple that Gautama Buddha attained enlightenment. It is the most sacred buddhist pilgrimage site in India.

Amritsar
Golden Temple, the holiest Sikh ethos is located in Amritsar. Covered in Gold and surrender by pond is also home to the biggest community kitchen in the country.

Rameshwaram
According to mythology, Lord Rama and his army created a bridge across the sea to Sri Lanka, to rescue Sita from Ravana. On his return, Lord Rama is said to have atoned for his sins, and prayed to Lord Shiva at the Ramanathaswamy Temple here.

Bhubaneswar, the capital of Odisha, is one of the most ancient cities in India. With several popular temples dominating its skyline, Bhubaneswar is widely considered to be the seat of Tribhubaneswar or Lord Lingaraj, an incarnation of Lord Shiva, and is an important Hindu pilgrimage centre.

Puri
Spirituality and divinity echo through every by-lane of the temple city of Puri. Devotees come here to pay obeisance at the Lord Jagannath Temple. While one part of the city gets busy celebrating the annual festival of Ratha Yatra (chariot procession of Lord Jagannath), the other part on the outskirts, fringed by beaches and lakes, remains blanketed in relative calm and serenity, making it a hub for nature lovers.

Konark
Dedicated to the Sun God and designed like his chariot, the massive and magnificent Sun Temple at Konark is one of the finest examples of ancient Indian architectural heritage. A UNESCO World Heritage Site, the breathtakingly splendid temple was once described by Nobel Laureate Rabindranath Tagore as the place where the language of stone surpasses the language of man.
